the paint on the buttons is the same for ESB and ROTJ as far as i know. From left to right first 2 rows top to bottom are red, second 2 rows are blue and final row is silver/chrome/unpainted.

Yes, I think that's right. I had mine painted as ESB, as from the gallery shots from MoM it appears the buttons in the first four rows from the left are painted, but BHG came back with objections on the top two blue buttons needing to be unpainted for L3 certification.
