Boxes for top/bottom of panel

I'm finally starting my build. I wanted to see what everyone was doing for the top and bottom of the box.

I know FAC offer Vac-Form boxes, but I'm looking for alternatives.

I got mine from Moncal. Took a while to ship, but they look great.

Yea he seems to be the only show in town for preformed boxes. They're a niche part and proving difficult to source. Robert and I are working on our boxes together so we're both trying to come up with something outside of Moncal for boxes since the lead in times are just too ridiculous for what the part is. We've toyed with the idea of just making our own blocks to vacform around and calling it good.

I am interested in getting some top and bottom panels as well. Do you know how deep they go into the box?

I'll have to see if they become available then. I don't want them interfering with the supports I have made, they should be fine, but will have to find someone making them first.

I was lucky that the boxes stopped just short of my support.

I ordered from MC a few weeks back with a 6 months ETA. Ouch. What I'm doing is closing them for now, if I reach the point where I paint it, I'll resell them when they get here. With the number of people wanting them, I certainly won't lose my money!
