Boiling Sintra?

I am about to start molding my armor out of 3 mm Sintra. and was planning on trying the boiling water technique.

Just wondering if I can use my household pots, or will molding them ruin the pot? Want to double check before I ruin my girlfirends cooking stuff .

The pots will be ok. Honestly though, while you're fiddling with the gf's kitchenware, just pop the sintra piece in the oven. It sounds scary, but I find it much easier.
