Boba toe spike problem/ solution.

I have read a lot about the ongoing problem of the toe spikes not being held to the shoe too well by the two screws on the side, resulting in the need for glue to be applied. Anyway, I had a thought about a solution to the problem with a small spike on the front/ inside to place in the show at the front to help stabilize the bracket. I had a friend of mine with access to welding equipment and metal cutting tool to make a pair in stainless. I dont know if this method has been done before but it seems like a nice solution to this problem.
I use Man of War shoes and Rafalfetts plans. Shameless plug for the guy that made these- http://www.clangarmory.com/

I found the bigger problem was the individual spikes coming loose and/or being lost from accidentally kicking the ground or something. The whole bracket never looked like budging on mine due to the two long screws on the sides that go into the sole of the shoe.

Yeah I saw that most of the toe spikes are bolted to the bracket. I figured that would be a problem as well. That is why I had these welded directly to the plate using a plug weld. Though I assume that a little JB weld on the threads of the bolts that hold the toe spikes on should fix the problem of them coming loose like that?
