Boba Fett Helmet versions? and whats the best one

Hi so i am well-versed when it comes to Lightsaber variants but I can't see to find a good thread on all versions of Boba Fetts helmets from the Original Trilogy. Im interested in buying an accurate replica but don't know what version of Fett's helmet I want to buy or who would be the best people to get the helmet's from.

If anyone is informed in this or knows a thread i'd appreciate the help.

All helmets came from the same mold. The dents were added later and some helmets, like ESB, have some additional warping. Possibly from heat, possibly from adding the dent, or who knows. So they are all basically the same in that regard. On screen you have ROTJ and ESB helmets. Off screen you have a few more. The onscreen difference is paint job and physical damage. So it's mostly just personal preference and budget for which to get.

ESB:
If you want a mass-produced the EFX is the best in that category. It's an ESB replica. There are no mass-produced ROTJ.

If you want a fan cast if you can get your hands on a Machinecraft Replica's ESB or RS Prop Masters helmet they are hands down the best ESB cast. They are a Gen 2 cast of the real helmet. Then paint job wise superjedi does the best ESB paint ups. Otherwise there are plenty of FPH2/3 based helmets and MR based helmets out there.

ROTJ:
There are no lineage ROTJ helmets but there are quite a lot of fan sculpts or lineage casts from other helmets that have been modded to ROTJ. Personally I like animefan (on the RPF) helmets. They are super strong and based on the Masters Replica helmet which is a cast of the PP3 helmet.
Paint wise I've always been a fan of Famous Fett paint ups. I also do ROTJ paintups that I'm quite proud of.

Thanks so much for the info ill look into the recommendations! Also I noticed that the Machinecraft and the RS Prop helmets aren't on the second image. Is this due to them being newer?

Yes, Art who made the graphic made it before those helmets surfaced.

This was the last version of the helmet chart (still unfinished, as you can see from several placeholder images) I worked on almost six years ago. This was before the ESB castings were made public. That nightmare tangle would likely be challenging for anyone to map out.

I stopped working on this further because Steve Coleman picked up the ball with his Boba Fett book. I helped him instead of trying to go any further with the helmet history graphic.
