Best way to attach the armor to your vest?

whats the best way to do this?

There are several ways, a quick search will turn up loads of threads on this. I myself glued screws to the back of the armor plates and attached eyelets on the vest so i can screw the armor pieces on.

Snaps or velcro are other options.

yup nuts and bolts is what i'm doing

i'm using velcro, one side [rough] glued to the back of the armor, the other side [soft] sewed to the vest.

bolts are good, but snaps are easier...it is mainly personal pref...

I used the bolt method. It's a bit of a pain but you won't get armour falling off in the middle of a troop.

al13ns shouldn't you have the velcro round the other way? Soft on the armour so it doesn't wreck the vest?

i use velcro and glue, but thinking about switching to snaps

how exactly would you do snaps?

You take squares of ABS, drill a hole and attach the snap. Glue the piece onto your armor.

Punch holes in your vest for the other snap piece and attach them. Voilà!
