Backplate jetpack attachment Help!

So I screwed in these tabs for a better hold, but then it doesn't fit (attach) to the jetpack. Yet, if I take out the screws the glue doesn't hold and the tabs fall off when I do attach the jetpack. Any suggestions?

From what I can tell from the picture and if I understand you correctly, it looks as though the screws need to be countersunk more so that they are flush to allow enough room for them to attach to the jetpack.
