Armor material

I was wondering what you guys reckon would be the best material to use to make the armor pieces out of for a Boba Fett costume.

If you read through previous build threads, you'll get lots of ideas, especially the scratch builds. ABS and PVC sheet are the best for the scratch builder to work with. I used 3mm thick PVC "Sintra" sheet for my armor. There are templates in the posts at the top of the list designed for using this material. It cuts easily and can be shaped with a heat gun.

I used Aluminum. but it does not flex at all.

Try a sign shop for scrap plastic.

I use PVC hardfoam (Sintra) for making armor. Easy to cut, form, glue and paint.
