Another moldmaker/casting question

OK... I woke up at 3 a.m., was unable to go back to sleep, and had rotocasting ideas running wild in my head. So I did what any other perfectly normal individual would do and jumped online to do some research. Anyway... I know it really has nothing to do with rotocasting, but is this what is or could be used for cold casting?

Oh yeah... I did find plans to build a rotocasting machine too.

That was plastic with aluminum bits added to it for strength. THIS is what you are looking for. Cold casting is done by brushing the mold with the metallic powder before pouring the casting resin.
