I believe it as canon, whether Lucas likes it or not, it happened.Also in the Holiday Special, it was seen, and used. In ESB it was at his side and very few people knew it was there.

I thought it did, it might have been modeled after Boba's side arm. I wouldn't be surprised if we could take the rubies Jango and make a replica of the Fett side arm.cal196 said:
