Airbrush question for the experts

I was looking into getting an airbrush. Ive heard good things about the Iwata Brand and how even their lower tier brushes are great.

First is this http://www.dixieart.com/Eclipse.html a decent one for the price, mind you this will be a new experiance for me so i'm not willing to forkout 200 for a pro-grade one yet.

and

Whats your thoughts on the siphon feeds verse a gravity feed ? which in your opinion is better for what we do as prop artists?

and

what is a Frisket Knife ? and Frisket film used for ?

Thanks

I hear the Eclipse is a great Airbrush but I have not used it myself, I use an Iwata HP-C.

Dixieart.com is a great place to buy an Airbrush that's where I bought mine!

Frisket Film is for masking off (Or covering) areas on a painting that you don't want painted,
the knife is for cutting Frisket Film.

Thanks for the reply propsculptor

I just realized though that this place is located in New Orleans, I wonder how affected they are by the recent disaster down there. Think I'll give their 800 number a call first before I place an order.

You can get the Iwata HP-C here for $99.00 with free shipping. This is the airbrush that Seeker recomended. So far it's been great, real easy cleanup too.

They also have good prices on hoses and holders.

SWFreak that's a great price, thanks for the link!:)

I'll pass it on to my students, that's cheaper than I bought my HP-C for!!
