Well with Hasboro releasing its Black Series Mando helmet this month, I thought I might try and make my own. Once I started on the helmet, I had an overwhelming urge to just create an entire cosplay of a Mandalorian. As I type, I have other armor printing...
This weekend, I’ll be finishing up the fiberglass resin interior, and putting the base coat down on the helmet. I ordered a sweet foam liner from a seller here to give it a great interior look. Still haven’t decided what the final color scheme will be. I know I have a few pieces that I want to incorporate into the costume. One being a coyote pelt as a type of “cape”. I’ll have a version of Bo Katans gauntlet with a retractable “knife”. I’m going to scratch build one heck of a blaster rifle. This is already turning into way to much fun haha
I’m not super educated when it comes to the history of Mandalorians, I’m afraid my knowledge is limited to Disney’s Mando and the Star Wars movies... though I am changing that, going to check out the boba comics and such... if anyone knows of any characters I should check out for reference, I’d appreciate the tips. I want to create something original, yet relevant to the mandalorian universe!
