3d printed ESB gauntlet accuracy?

Hey guys,
I'm trying to figure out if it's worth it trying to sand and paint these gauntlets I got for pretty cheap.
I have to get a new flame thrower and the part for the right gauntlet.
Also they're a little too large for me, I was wondering what I could do to make them smaller.
Let me know what you think

It all depends on budget tbh, screen accurate in the whole should be vacumn formed which when assembled can be trimed down to fit. How much are the shells and greeblies?

The CRL makes no mention of materials and I highly doubt most people in the 501st approving kits are going to ask unless they're like us or jbdubz.

While vacuum formed shells are the way to go there's going to be a lot of work to get those 3D printed shells ready. Is it possible? Yes. Will you be priming/filling and sanding for a few days? Yes.

Thanks for all the answers, I'm getting the whipcord replaced with a ESB one. I would like to get a vaccum formed one but I could not find any and for my budget

You could always try and mish mash of parts. Ask a seller for a price on just the 4 shells and then 3d print the greebles. Less sanding and less to replace in the future if you decide to go more accurate.
