You might be wondering why a helmet painted to look like the Empire Strikes Back Boba Fett helmet is here in the Return of the Jedi Boba Fett helmet section.
This helmet is a Return of the Jedi Boba Fett Stunt helmet. At least two stunt helmets were created during the preproduction of the Return of the Jedi. They are casting of the Empire Strikes Back Boba Fett helmet and painted to look like the the Empire Strikes Back Boba Fett helmet. They are cast in a slightly flexible red plastic. Two Return of the Jedi Boba Fett Stunt helmets resides at the Lucasfilm archives.
These helmets can be seen during the actions scenes on the Skiff and Sail Barge.
