Boba Fett Return of the Jedi Costume

The Return of the Jedi Boba Fett costume is often referred to as the RotJ costume.

Unlike the previous costumes, the Return of the Jedi costume was painted by an unknown artist using existing armor and painting over previous work. Some new armor parts were made but many were repurposed. The original multicolor jetpack, as seen on the prototype costumes, was used in Return of the Jedi. In addition to several sets of standard armor, stunt armor and helmets, made of a soft, semiflexible red plastic were created for the action scenes. Stunt blaster made of foam were also created.

The Return of the Jedi Boba Fett helmet was painted by Sandy Dhuyvetter's Daydream Productions who loosely used the First Prototype Boba Fett costume as a template. This helmet was painted during the preproduction of the Empire Strikes Back and it is unclear why the Empire Strikes Back Boba Fett helmet was not used for Return of the Jedi.
At least two complete sets of the Return of the Jedi Boba Fett costume (along with multiple parts), as well as two Return of the Jedi Boba Fett stunt helmets still exist and resides at the Lucasfilm archives when not on tour.
