Hello from Ohio... Debating ESB or ROTJ

Brand new to TDH. I've been to several celebrations and I'm finally deciding to build a Boba with my son. We want to put him next to our han solo in carbonite. I can't make up mind though on a ESB or ROTJ version. So many choices!

I have a ROTJ, but if I were going to display it next to a HIC I would go with ESB.

Even though I think Rotj looks cooler, if you are going to display it go for ESB.

Both? LOL There are things on the ESB I LOVE! There are things on the ROTJ suit I LOVE! It sucks ROTJ SE is the in between if you will....Ive gone back and forth with it a few times over the years....but SE is where its at for me

Thanks for all the input. I love the punch of red color in ROTJ, but the more blue flightsuit for ESB... I'm leaning ESB.

I had the same issues when deciding on what version costume to build. I started out thinking ROTJ since I like the red gauntlets and multi color jetpack.

But the helmet on ESB is the BEST helmet out of all of them. So then I thought I would go ROTJ SE since it had a version of the ESB helmet.

But the more I thought about it....ESB has the best helmet, best flight suit, best gauntlets and ESB is the best OT movie where BF actually had speaking parts soooooo, ESB it is for me.

(Plus when TDH built Jeremy Bulloch his own wearable costume and they asked which version he wanted, he chose ESB )

ESB is the the badass one, even Vader asked him for help:cool
ROTJ is the one who gets kicked by a blind man into the sarlacc pit

I'm building a ROTJ myself since it's my favorite version. That being said if I was in your shoes I would build a ESB version to go with the HIC.

Congrats on your start! ESB is what I'm also doing. I was born in Dayton, but live in VA. I'll be travelling to Columbus to see my Buckeyes play on the weekend of Oct. 8th!!
