Hello from North Dakota!

Hello! I am new to the Star Wars costuming thing, but I am one who is often accused of getting "way too involved" for Halloween (and similar dress-up festivities)

I started mulling the idea of 501st membership over many years ago, but never got serious about it until recently. I started thinking maybe Kylo Ren, but scratched that idea as there's not quite enough resource for a newbie such as myself.... Then, I thought about an ANH Stormtrooper... Nifty, but it wasn't until I got to RS Prop Masters' website that I found my true calling; BOBA FETT... I'm still not sold on the RS Fett complete set, but I see they have some wonderful parts! Does anyone know how well their helmet stands up to 501st scrutiny? As it is one of the key parts of the costume, I may defer my newbieness to building my own helmet later and running the RS or another pre-fab for now...

So, here I am, rooting through your info like a wild boar in a melon patch... Be prepared for an onslaught of newbie questions!

I've been cruising around the net, and I think I found a flight suit... Should be a good place to start; fairly cheap and a big part of the costume, etc... What do you guys think of this suit?

I am fairly handy with a needle and thread, but I'm definitely not handy enough to make something like Boba's flight suit...
