If you look at the template file, you'll see that in the ears/rangefinder section you have some optional holes for the right upper ear base too, more exactly the cut out for the wires and the micro switch.

Thank you so much for these templates. I actually feel like I won't get super confused about building this bucket now. I was only wondering if this is exactly 1:1 scale to the original Fett buckets? I've printed the templates correctly on letter paper. It looks fine to me really, but the templates seem a tad smaller than WOF's template set. I'm now wondering if maybe your templates are slightly undersized, or WOF's are oversized. I'm still gonna put this set together and find out if it fits my big head or not.

Hey Rafal, i have a question.

Hey Kaym85, the cardboard strip is added 2 times. The 1st strip is added before you glue the inner face to the dome base (quoted from the 1st post):
Before we deal with the inner layer, there is a small piece (it is not present on the template files) we have to add to the back of the dome base; the purpose of this piece is that the red rim's thickness on the back area of the dome is double compared to the rest of the parts. You have to cut a 330mm long and around 10mm wide strip from 2mm thick cardboard, then bevel around 50mm from both ends so that when it is glued to the dome base, the cardboard strip will flush with the rest of the parts:

The 2nd strip is added after you glue the outer face to the inner one; the strip goes inside the rim created by the outer face on the dome base (quoted from the 1st post):
We have to cut another 330mm long cardboard (2mm thick) strip, but this time the width will have the extra outer layer rim's height (around 5mm). This strip is also beveled at both ends then it is glued on the back area inside of the outer layer rim:

I hope this helps!

image.jpgI have another question. Is this normal? Its the innerlayer when its aligning to the top margin of the inner layer.

I'm not sure what I supposed to see in that image. Please be more specific. But if I have to guess, you are talking about the outer and inner layers and the fact that they don't overlap perfectly. It is very important to align the lower edges of the layers and not the top edges and also use the center line in the T-visor as a starting point.
