General Red chest display plastic

Hunter
I'm uk based and I'm struggling to find red clear acrylic or plastic for the chest display. I've brought some and it's 3mm thick which is the thinnest I can find, can anyone suggest where I can get anything thinner as im struggling to get it to sit right with the curvy-ness of the RS armour

-Thanks!

Red plastic? Most Boba's I know use black tinted plastic. The red lights inside the chestplate still shine through red.

I have seen red used before. You could use a red transparent folder found at an office supply store. Not sure about availability in the UK.

I thought the plastic was found to be smoke/brown (but I can't find the reference for that; 501st simply says "translucent"). In any case you may be able to find what you want at an auto parts store -- red commonly used to "repair" broken tail lights or as in my case a window tint plastic. Then you can adhere the covering to a clear plastic trimmed from any blister pack, that plastic is usually pretty thin but durable.

It was mentioned to me previously on here and by my 501st armourer that it was red plastic. The RS armour came with a dark green welders plastic and it was so dark that my fett tonics was hardly visible.
Thanks for the input - if someone can find a definitive answer then I'll happily alter the chest display accordingly :)

I got mine from a music store, the kind that sells instruments and gadgets. It's red plastic for stage lighting.
