I began my journey of Boba Fett in the summer

I bought my kit from a friend who happens to costume Jango Fett

Nice costume, only downside is it wouldn't meet 501st or MMCC standards. I always have fun trooping in my Fett and meeting lots of new people.

just a little more work, I would have been able to pass with the Special Edition ROTJ Boba Fett.

No sadly you wouldn't. Your armor lacks a return edge which is required now for 501st approval. Thats just one of the bigger things lacking. The suit does look nice though.

Like I said mate, just a little bit more work that would include the plates and I maybe would have passed. I had a good start.
