Jet pack harness. (Updated)

Takes maybe an hour. Leave the upright end of the tube unplugged, and let the expansion of the frozen water protruding from that end tell you when it's ready.
Cool, thanks! And how about for bending the frozen tube? Do you hit it around something or can you just flex it? I'd imagine ice would make it tough to flex

Budget Hard Jet Pack Harness Construct $20

I additional info in my thread. cyber gave me the idea, and I went for it over the weeked...reminded him he needed to get off his lazy butt and finally do some work :wacko

I don't have an anvil like cp, so I used a landscape timber. Had someone sit on it in the bed of my truck and I folded it over the wood (downward).

I built mine much the same way, but bent metal rods in a vice to get the trapezoid shape on the rings.

also the bottom brackets on the Pack do they latch onto that cross bar or the D loops. and do the top straps where the jetpack hangs go thru the back of the vest? I.E. Make holes in the vest back? or does the neck of it come just short enough below the straps for that

I am not a geometry expert...
If you are looking to achieve a 2" rhombus or diamond shape, as you will be using 2" straps, you would have 60 degree and 120 degree angles.
I would say anything within a few degrees would be acceptable in bending the rod.

Hey spy any chance on the measurements of those angled D rings? Hopefully with angle measurements me thinks?

Haven't ever submitted something for 501 approval so idk how picky it can get
Judging by your name do you own a lvl 3 certified boba fett with the 501?

Maybe some day...Level 3 is my employer. Didn't actually know there was a level 3 cert until after I put in my screen name.

the inside measurement is about two inches. The seat belt material is just over 1 and 3/4 inches. Not sure of the degree of the angle, but if I did it again, I'd make the degree greater. Check Rafal Fett's templates. Can't find my compass and I did the build several years ago. Found a plated rod at a Menards. Just did the bending w/ a vice and hammer.
