Hey Guys!
First off, many thanks to our supermod TD for posting the pics - appreciate it, TD!
A big thanks to all who shared their comments & critiques - much appreciated as well.
Let me answer some questions:
The shoe you see above is "experimental" or rather just seeing what the custom shoe maker could do - yes it could be improved upon, but we're just showing you what the possibilities are.
The shoe is made of "Denim" or "Jeans" material - the light colored portions is the Denim material used inside-out, while the center darker portion is Denim material right side up. The inside is lined with cushioned leather for comfort.
Dyeing or painting is still required to get the shoe to look more movie accurate....and maybe some 'weathering' might help as well.
Yes, it definitely needs spikes - but my shoe maker doesnt make those
I did give him a free reign on designing some parts of the shoe, but like I said its "experimental".
Frankly, I never expected a dead-on accurate shoe from the maker since its his first attempt and also dont know if there would be any guys interested in having one made 'coz of the hassle in measuring your foot & sending that info to me.
But for those inclined to do so, its about $120 + international shipping per custom pair, custom fitted to your own feet
Naturally, dyeing or painting...as well as placing spikes will have to be done by you.
