Mow boots uk colours

Hey all

I have a white pair of mow boots that need to be weathered and I believe either painted with enamel or fabric paints

i am going for the rotj scheme - I believe this requires some weathering and grey stripes ?

Can anyone help me out on what's available in the uk market ?

how do I weather them and paint them - very noob question sorry

I agree, acrylic paints, probably any brand will do. I used black, charcoal, magnolia (white), burnt umber, yellow, and purple, following the guide here: http://www.thedentedhelmet.com/f20/ca-boots-weathering-13136/ wetting the boot fabric first and applying diluted paint with a brush.

I started with MOW boots, but mine were grey to start, so I didn't really need the first steps of painting them grey, but you sure will!

Use acrylic paints

I airbrushed mine.

Looks amazing so is there a solid black center ?

because some of the reference pictures shows it to have an outline ?

That guide does not paint a solid stripe down the middle as above did, is it supposed to be a solid black/ dark grey or is it only the outlines ?

Thanks

The center section is black. The guide I used doesn't have that step as the CA boots come that way.
