Helmet:

For the helmet I went with a Lone Wolf Boba Fett Helmet Casting. I've known him from attending Dragon Con for several years and rather get a casting ready to trim from him than print and modify a random file found online. Clean up was pretty straight forward and took about a day. The single most unique aspect of my helmet build compared to others who have finished this kit is the custom range finder stalk mount I made. The set up contains several magnets so when the stalk is in the up position, it STAYS up. this was printed in pro PLA and grafted to the helmet with epoxy.

The T visor was cut from a welding visor and is secured in with Chicago screws and PVC foam plastic.

I will make a post detailing the painting and weathering process, but in a nut shell the helmet was primed and given a base coat of Rustoleum 2x Metallic Aluminum, the painted using liquid masking and salt to created the acid etch look. Once all the colors were on the helmet recieved an acrylic wash.

To make the helmet wearble, I used a hard hat liner on the inside.
