Best Jetpacks painted

New Hunter
Hey All,

New to this all and starting my first Fett (ESB)

Wondering who makes and paints the best jetpacks? Also what about flight suit and pouches? I've heard Arkrady is the best...

Thank you

Fettpride for the pack, but I'm sure there's a wait. Bobamaker has a nice pack too, but theres the wait time there too, AND he really hikes up the price for US customers. I hear NME props has a good pack, but the communication is lacking. MOW has an all resin cast, which many people have. Downside is the weight Not too many prop makers paint also, so you'd have to source between the painting guys.
Only painters I can think of that paint packs are Darth Vorhees and Ponte.

Arkady for all the soft parts ( FS, vest, pouches, neck seal) Batninja HAD super nice vests, but he gave up making them.

Don't forget RS Props. It is what was once called the BFUK pack. It is a great cast. I have painted up three of them.

They are a bit smaller than the MOW pack, so depending on your body size, make sure you get one that fits you.....

While I don't have any photos of any ESB packs I've painted (it's been a few years), I have painted a few Man of War, RS, and my Fettpride pack in ROTJ (https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.666898786737846.1073741828.666877423406649&type=3)

Fettpride, MOW, and RS Props are top notch packs. You won't be disappointed with any of them.

As far as soft parts go in terms of absolute accuracy: Clothears is top dog right now. The flightsuits are trim cut (just like the originals) and are made from the correct weave and fabric weight. Same goes for the vest, and as far as I know they're the only ones incorporating the smaller screen-accurate stitching details that a lot of different vendors completely bypass. With that said....the price for them is absolutely the highest of the bunch.

Rick is correct, clothears are the premium in terms of price for softgoods and you're looking at 26-28 week turn around time.

I'm also excited to see anovo's boba fett jetpack kit coming out soon. I wonder how small it'll be compared to FP/MOW/RS packs with their 3D scanning of the original.

I'd like to see the clothears suit. Probably is real nice.
if the Anovos stuff seems to follow suit, it will probably be mid grade stuff.....

The examples I've seen from Clothears and from I've been told it's hands down the most accurate. They are letting me pay with installment plans which is very helpful.

I have my doubts with Anovos. Their in hand items I saw at Celebration were beautiful. Also, not to derail the thread here are some shots from their panel which I attended.
