Hey man thanks for the kind words. Haha, the snow is finally melting, I've been parking my car on the side of the street instead of down my driveway. It's kind of sad when you walk outside and say "Hhhmmm, it's pretty nice out today." And then you check your phone and see that it is still 32 degrees out. I've been through Jeff City quite a bit, used to date a girl that lives in Columbia, I think it's only about 35 minutes north of Jefferson. I am only like, 5% done with my SE lol. I've only been on the boards for like 3 weeks now. I could have all my armor shaped out by now, but I've been busy gathering information and working on templates. I'm working on an accurate ammo belt right now. The prototype is being made out of vinyl, then it's on to real leather. Also working on a vest pattern and located a place here in missouri that has tackle twill in grey. I already have to re-make my neck seal, it's a little too tight and after getting more referance photos I noticed that it is attached with velcro at the top, and a hook and eye at the bottom. So this will be re-done with tackle twill and the proper closure. Also, looks like the ribbing is correct, I have seen other neck seals here that are pleated, but the referance photos I have show that it is ineed ribbed. Can anyone tell me, the costume you see in the MoM exhibit... was that made specifically for the exhibit, or is actual pieces made for the movie? Sorry for the novice question, but I don't know if I want to use MoM pics as referance if it isn't "screen accurate" it's just hard to see some parts of Fett while watching and pausing a movie. Like the back of the ammo belt, and how it is actually attached. The MoM exhibit shows a belt that has no grommets, and uses a thin piece of leather to tie it closed.
