Tips on helmet weathering

Does anyone have tips, tricks or what to use for weathering the mando helmet?

my helmet is ready. Need help

The finish on that is incredible! Alumaluster?
I’m still working on mine but plan to weather with artists oils, soaked on cardboard to leech the oil out, and then thinned with clear mineral spirits.

Thanks! No not alumaluster. I wish the wife would allow that purchase. Lol. I used a polish powder. It’s uschi van der rosten chrome type polishing powder.

it came out pretty good. I was a little impatient so I’ve got some light orange peel here and there. I think it may be a bit too of a bright chrome.
