Time to make my dream come true

Hey guys ! Like I said in my introduction, I always wanted to buy my own Boba Fett armor. Not the cheap things you can find on eBay, no... I wanted something movie accurate or at least, very realistic, maybe even realistic enough to apply to the 501st Legion. No need to say that I never had enough money to buy it. Time has passed, and today, I decided to fulfill my dream. I started to build a mandalorian helmet (I don't really know if it will lead to a Boba, a Jango, or a custom armor though...).

First, I'll make the helmet, with pepakura files. Then, the rest will follow. It's my very first pepakura project, so I hope it's good enough for a first time.

If you guys have some tips to share (maybe to avoid beginners mistakes), feel free to post. Help is always appreciated !

Hi everybody

While I'm finishing the dome of the bucket, I've made my choice, this armor will be a custom one.

Here's a quick model of what I want to achieve. It's kind of a mix between a Jango and a Boba, best of both worlds IMO

Nice composition of colours there! You might want to add some light brown colours in there, cape, wookie braids maybe to compliment the greens, reds and yellows.

I like your concept art. I as well enjoy the custom Mando. Boba is still King but I am a Fabricator and am always changing things. Keep up the good work.

Couldn't resist a little fitting test ! What do you guys think ? Is it alright ?

Messed up the back of the bucket... I'll fix this tonight. It should be alright though.

I still have to do the left ear and the keyslots. I have to find a pepakura file of the rf too. I've spent about 8 hours of work (printing and cutting included) to go there, not that bad for a first pepakura project. On a side note, I should have used THICKER PAPER ! It's a pain in the *** to work with regular printer paper... I'll remember this for the next times lol
