The Marshal Cobb Vanth Costume Discussion

I’ll be posting some HD screen grabs later this morning. This will be the place to go over the details and parts for Cobb Vanth's costume parts such as the Legacy helmet, juicy trendz pants, riggers belt, shirt, and paintball gloves.

The stitching leads me to believe they used a Condor copy of an SO Tech riggers belt.

The boots appear to be Skechers Alley Cats.

Here is what I believe is the shirt material. The first material seems to be closer in color to me.

The gloves used are tan versions of either the Valken or Matrix airsoft/paintball gloves we all know and have seen a billion times. Matrix is just Valken gloves rebranded by Evike but since plenty of productions and prop houses grab stuff from Evike is fairly safe to assume that these are Matrix. Seriously, that shirt is horrible.

Casual observations:
Collar armor does not attach over the back armor.

His jetpack seems to be attached directly to the back armor instead of scuba harness.

Notice the Cylon style animation on the top row of his chest display?

In the ESB screenplay, Fett is described as wearing a "weapon-covered armored spacesuit." This no longer looks anything like a spacesuit. I feel like I'm looking at a warmed over Firefly episode with star wars props. I don't have Disney+. I've no idea what's going on. Not sure I want to know.

Why would they use the Sideshow bust as the base for the helmet? You’d expect that Lucasfilm could get access to the ROTJ helmet to mould and cast it. Looks very small on Vanth and the massive ear cap on the right was distracting.

Because the Sideshow Bust is actually the Sideshow/Legacy Effects Bust, and Legacy Effects made all of the Mandalorian's costumes. To the rest of your take, I agree completely, but what're-you-gonna-do?

No they do not have access to the ROTJ helmet it’s been on tour for a while. And will be for a long time.

Plus its Skywalker Ranch that owns the ROTJ. LF has to jump through some hoops to get access to the archive stuff.

Some of those Jetpack parts look oddly familiar... Just my luck that one of our pieces must have fallen off so you can see it in some scenes but it’s missing in others. Before anyone asks, no I will not sell you a single thruster side greeblie!

I’m going back and forth on the helmet. I honestly can’t tell if it’s the sideshow or not, I was leaning towards it not being. I don’t have the eye for Fett like a lot of you guys.

I can tell you for sure, Legacy did not make the Fett costume. Whether the shop that did was given Legacy’s mold, I can’t say. No idea.

It's definitely the sideshow helmet .
