Will you recommend a few places that has holsters and other tactical gear ? I have found very little at thrift stores

Not Fett related but I ordered all my tactical gear for my Umbrella soldier costume from police suppliers on eBay. Think eCop was one of the sellers?

Tactical 5.11 has some good police/military equipment, but they are pricey. But you can get an idea of what you are looking for and find a cheaper alternative.

Anything specific you are looking for? I have made some costumes that utilize tactical gear before and I usually go with airsoft or paintball dealers. Their stuff is cheaper and and looks just as good.
