Sharing the AFX Mando Helmet

Not a lineage cast by any means, but a beautiful fan-made and painted Mandalorian bucket nonetheless. Alongside Mr. Rupert's Mando finishes, Jimmy Cosentino of AFX is one of the best I've ever had the pleasure owning. I really love the sharper edges of the helmet along with the slightly wider mandibles. A super-cool Beskar appearance from any angle, in any light.

Looks great! Is it a 3D print? If so, what file does he use? I’ve never heard of AFX. The paint job looks great!
Apologies for using the acronym. AFX (ArtisanFX). I just assumed everyone in here knew who AFX was. The helmet was collabed along with Sean Bradley who casted it. Jackson Rupert has painted a couple of his helmets and had nothing but praise for his work. Not sure what file Sean used for it, but I like it a lot. Its very idealized. Jimmy's paintwork puts an already exceptionally well casted helmet over the top.

Here are a few older shots and angles from earlier this year in different light highlighting the paintwork, and what it does for the helmet. I've owned it since January when Jimmy's first run was released. The coolest part is that I scored this for way less than what eFX and Anovos were charging for their mass produced helmet. I received a superior cast, a superior build, superior paint, and superior quality all for about $150 less. The only thing I didn't get was the lineage portion, but that's ok. This is one is very close enough. Happy Mando Monday!

Yeah, it looks great! WAY better than the Anovos and EFX helmets IMHO...I had both and sold both. Was extremely disappointed with both - especially for the price. Nice to see independent vendors making much higher quality, more screen-accurate helmets at a lower cost.

View attachment 202419After really looking at the EFX, I have to say that I’m not sold on their “lineage” claim. I’ve been wrong before, but it just doesn’t look accurate to me. That AFX helmet looks really damn good though man.
