Multi year lurker here, decided to finally make a post! Going to be documenting my repaint of my RotJ EE3 here. Having to do this since it fell off a shelf while I was away at college, and was damaged, but that just means my painting addiction can continue, and I can improve on my first attempt!
The above image is the first version(rip). My first thing that I did was repair the damaged sections of the blaster, which included reattaching the barrel that snapped in half, filling and sanding it, and fixing/filing cracks throughout the blaster, and reattaching small pieces. I also trimmed back the hammer a bit to make it more accurate to the RotJ version. I then began the process of painting it once it was repaired. Currently I am done with base coats, which I did with spray paint, and have sealed it, about to begin adding details, and weathering!
