His suit in those photos is way different than his outfit at D23. I'll bet they keep changing his armor/suit throughout this entire series. It would be hard to decide when to actually start building one of them because a better version might be just around the corner.

Yes, the prevailing theory is that he upgrades his armor throughout the course of the show. Starting with the mix-matched earthy toned set and evolving into the more chromed set.
