Red colour from plastic bag on gloves - Need advice

Hello.

When I was at Genki con in Denmark I was wearing my Boba suit for the first time, which was awesome. A friend of mine didn't have any pockets in her costume, and as she was carrying a lot of other things she asked if I could carry a red plastic bag for her, which I of course did.

The problem is that some of the red colour from the plastic bag rubbed off on my gloves because of the heat. How would you suggest I deal with this? Would a simple wash do the trick? Do they need to be treated in any way before washing them? Any other methods?

try hand washing first, or a gentle machine wash. Plastic melt to the gloves or just the colouring?

Just the colour Daz just suggested the same, so I might try that
