Re-coloring or Dyeing Jango Gloves

I just recieved these gloves yesterday in the grotto blue:

has anyone attempted to re-color or dye them to get them to a closer color match? If so what did you use?

At $70 a pair I can't see buying another pair for a do over.

Jango Newbie has a thread here on coloring a Jango vest and gloves with SEM Color Coat. I'm currently using it to make ammo pouches. It's a spray can, about $10, a good range of colors, and goes on vinyl. SEM's website has a list of suppliers, nothing in Bossier City but try an auto paint store. Good Luck.

You can't truly recolor leather unless its a spray like Boba Phat is talking about. Even then it will crack over time. However, you can darken the leather with any oil product. Try Neats Foot Oil.
