Purpose Of Chest Display? What's It For?

Hello my fellow members!

I know Boba's chest armor has an read out light display as well as other Mandolorian armors but I don't know what the purpose of that display is. I was asked once and didn't know what to say. I've tried looking it up but I don't get the answer that I'm looking for. All I'm getting is what the sequences should be and who to get them from. I don't want to look like a fool dress as Boba and not know what I'm wearing. Does anyone know?

Thanks!
Jesse

heh i had the same thing happen to me at an event. and i flat out said..honestly..i have no idea lol. They got a kick out of it, but i did feel kind of dumb having this costume and not having any idea at all what the display is "for" lol Life support read out/display does sound good to me though lol.

Just say because it's cool! :-P

For life support...so if a fallen mando is found they can see at a glance if he is dead.... mando's never take off their helmets around others including other mando's...

I read that in 'starwars the bounty hunter code'

Good book

Keeping the helmet on is important.

Boba sells advertising space on his chest, and it's an obscure message that reads:
"Be sure to drink your Ovaltine."

But I think I read somewhere (a million years ago) that this piece of medical equipment called an infusion pump
was a possible source of the chest readout. So maybe heart monitor or life support isn't so far off!
