Protecting Fett - What to use on the paint?

I am getting close to being done with my Fett

What do I use to protect my paint exactly?

Testors Dullcote is a good choice.

+1 for Testors Dullcote! Very rugged clearcoat.
It's a lacquer, so if you use it, apply it in a few light-to-medium coats.

This is what i've used on account that i painted my armor with humbrol enamels
Humbrol AA0535 49 Varnish Matt - 14ml Enamel Varnish

I have been using this from Hobby Lobby & it has prove to be very durable. I like how it covers, it goes on very light & haven't had any problems with it.

I have found that the Rustoleum matte clear isn't as dull & can go on rather heavy so need to watch for runs, but gives great coverage.

I have used both of these product together using the Rustoleum as the base & The Tree House brand over it to dull it down without any adverse conditions.

Based on how my gauntlets, jetpack, & my wife's Boushh tanks take a beating & this has held up great.
