Prep for my first bucket

Wicked Fett

Jr Hunter
Hi all, my first resin helmet just wanted some help on the best prep and the best paints to use.
Going for an ROTJ. Also I’m having problems trimming and cutting. I have a dremmel and discs but need something smaller for the grill at the back. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help me.

Try getting closer to the edges with the disc attachment for the dremel. There’s also small sanding attachments you’re about to buy for dremels too but get some small metal nail files to get into the small corners. It’s a process that takes some time but good prep is the first step.

Also, the rangefinder doesn’t need the sx-70 lens piece for ROTJ.

Many thanks for your input really appreciate it will take me sometime to finish but that’s the fun of it. Aye wrong lens will change :)

Ive learned having the right tools will make everything go a little smoother for sure!
Thanks again, have to say resin is easier to work with than PETG. Not perfect as you need a real steady hand :)
