noob questions about the helmet

The best thing for your dremel is a flex shaft if you don't have one. And I use a large cutting wheel on mine.

just normal old hack saw blades....something like this. Easily found at any hardware store.

yeh drill a hole in the larger area with a dremel...get as much as you can file, and hack saw your way to open holes.

ok cool i have a flex shaft, did not consider using it,but i will give it a shot on a practise helm i bought for cheap. and the engraving cutter is what i used to cut out the key slots on that practise helm, i will go and check out the hacksaw and hand files. thanks guys

the only thing i don't cut with the dremel 111 is the excess flash that you sometimes get around the base of the helmet. that i use a fiberglass cutoff wheel. but everything else, dremel 111.
