It's an aluminum helmet I don't like steel I hate rust. It's going to be heavy I'm using the thick aluminum 3/16

hey, steel is fine!.. as long as it is stainless steel like my helmet is
Very exited how this helmet will come out. there are very rare helmets out of metal out there and in aluminum I just know the casted one from handschaub. great to see one welded!!! do you already have a dome? I used a bowl for mine, maybe there are also aluminum bowls or balls you could cut in two half.

yup you do great work I'm always on n your shadow. I will most likely heve to pull out the auto hammer for the dome but I will cross that bridge when I get there
