Well, I can't say why he's not a member on here, but having been privy to the pictures of the process from very close to the beginning, I too can vouch that it's not a recast from a movie sized helmet--if it was, it was the worst recast I've ever seen! :)

What details are you fearing are recast from the MSH helmet exactly?  Or, what areas couldn't be found in pictures, because I've got about 5 pictures on my ref CD from just about every possible angle! :)

How did he get the size right?  Well, let's face it, you're making a helmet.  It's gotta fit on a head . . that gives you a pretty good ballpark to start in! :) hehe  I've compared his dimensions to my MSH and, like I stated above, he's about a full inch bigger in length.

You were questioning the keyholes . . well, I like to think I've played a bit of a part in that, as I asked him if he'd be willing to do a keyhole area that would fit my movie sized helmet (I dont' have the talent to do it, or else I would have done it myself), as I'm not happy with the keyholes as they came (about my only beef with the bucket too, I might add)

Anyways, hope that helps shine a bit of light on the situation, and calms any fears that it's recast or anything like that.  There's no funny business going on . . just a talented guy makin' a bucket with a lot of input to help get it to what you're seeing the pictures of.
