General Need some ESB paint help!!

Personally, I feel Matt's pic was great, yours too DV. From what I've seen so far, some spruce and weathering and misting seem to work well. But as mentioned, the pictures differ, so it's very hard to match a color from 30 years ago that was most likely put out of commission. If anyone has other color suggestions I'd be willing to try them out and post results as soon as the 2 feet of snow here clears up! XP This has been a very beneficial thread IMO. Hopefully it grows with more info!

Also if someone could chime in with some accurate shoulder colors and possibly techniques that'd be much appreciated

Rusto safety striping yellow for one shoulder. Same plus misting/layering of Go mango( either Testors or Model masters spray, can't remember but can get it at hobby stores) for the other shoulder and knees. The yellow shoulder also has a splat of grey beside the decal, and many use some traces of black for weathering also.

this is the color I got from rusto spruce green. Without weathering. So it definitely needs some work.

That's nice to see how it comes out. What are you going to use on top? HCG?
