I ended up picking up a GA kit. Figured it was something I could test my skills on. Needless to say the rocket part came looking like someone sat on it. More oval then round. I got a hold of Chuck and he hooked me up with a new vent and rocket. Spent the past few nights an hour here and an hour there after my son fell asleep. Here's where I ended tonight. Sorry for the kinda blurry pic. Not the best lighting in a garage
First coat of green and first weathering. Will wait for green to dry and then start adding the color and the red blocks towards the top at the end. Not so bad for my first time working on a JP. I'm pleasently happy so far.
