MY FIRST SRATCHBUILT BLASTER (Progress pictures)

Hello everybody !!!
This is V-Fett,from France. After completing my first scratchbuilt helmet ( http://www.thedentedhelmet.com/showthread.php?t=26420 )
I decided to make a Blaster. Again, I'd like to thank all the members for sharing their building and weathering techniques. A very special thank to my dad for making the stock and giving me lots of ideas (and he's got so many tools ). I airbrushed the whole blaster using
-HUMBROL 27001 ALUMINIUM METAL COTE
-TAMIYA XF-1 Flat Black
-REVELL Color Stop (Masking liquid)
It was really fun to scratchbuild that blaster,and this time I took progress pictures !. So here it is:

The gun I used is just a plastic gun I bought for 2 euros (I still have the cardboard target + the darts and the "SWAT Super Police" badge that came with it ).

Thats a great DIY Blaster that mate..Do you have the measurements at all still for the stock? Plus what did you use for the long barrel?

For the stock I used the latest version of WOF's drawings (http://www.thedentedhelmet.com/showthread.php?t=6384&highlight=webley+templates).

For the long barrel I just used a plastic tube.

How did you connect your stock? i was looking at the pictures and could tell. Is it just glued on?

Hi !!!
The stock is connected to the stock of the plastic gun via 2 screws. It was a little bit tricky :wackobecause I had to drill 2 holes in the gun stock wide enough for a small screwdriver, place the screws and then mask the holes with Bondo, but this was the only way to connect it.

Where did you find your gun base? What would be a good base gun if I decided to scratch build this thing?

Hi !!!
I bought my base gun in a kind of 1$ store.
A good base gun could be anything as long as it is adult size (or at least the size of a real gun) and it has to have a barrel so you can put it inside a plastic tube.
