Custom Mandalorian My first custom Mandalorian WIP. Pick heavy thread.

Hi there!
This is my first crack at Star Wars costuming.
I've been going to Comic-con's for a few years and was interested in doing something but the new movies coming out really got me exited about it.

I started piecing it together a few months ago and finally have almost all of it.
I still have a bunch of work to do but there's light at the end of the tunnel now.

So here it is....

Armor off Ebay. Unfortunatly NOT Mandalorian Mercs approved... Wish I knew that before I bought it but, O well.
It fits ok.... I just recently got my vest and i'll get it all attached in a couple days.

Armor is painted gloss black right now.... I'll get it all fitting right before doing the final paint scheme

A guy I work with picked up a 3D printer and has been making me some cool stuff... Gauntlets and rockets. One rocket is painted but I'm not happy with

I smoothed out the gun and painted it black but it's far from finished...

and this is how it looks now... after primer and black automotive paint.
It will be getting a couple more colors but Black will do for Halloween.

Went out for my first troop this weekend at a local Entertainment expo.
My kit was only about %70 finished but it went ok.
I got a bunch of tips from 501st and Mercs members that were there.

A bunch of things need work but this was ok for a first try.

Im digging the black bucket colours. Looks very slick. What style of bucket is it?

I was originally going to do a matt clear over it and add some battle damage but I love how it turned out like this.

It's an NME Assassin, It was flawless out of the box. It is beautiful and I would totally recommend them to anyone.
The only issue with NME props is there so busy it takes a long time to get it..... Well worth the wait though.
