I agree ... it kinda looks like it's been shot with a paintball gun. HOWEVER, since it is a custom Mandalorian, you are free to do whatever you want with it. But just take a look around to see how some other people did battle damage and weathering.

Also, ya might wanna post something like this in the 'Dented Variants' section instead of the 'Boba Fett' section.

Looks like you got a few pretty sharp edges on there.

If you insist on using aluminum (I think you would be happier in the long run with plastic) I would round down those edges a touch. Aluminum, believe it or not, is a nasty metal with which to get cut. Some studies I read about in a medical microbiology course stated that wounds caused by aluminum can be more prone to nasty biological infection than wounds caused by rusty iron, even accounting for tetanus bacillus.

Plus, depending on what gauge you used, the aluminum can be easily bent and ruin the shape you worked hard to make in the first place.

Call some local sign making shops and ask them if the have any Sintra scraps that they are throwing out. This can be easily formed using a heat gun or with some patience even a hairdryer. Then run it under some cold water and "voila"...it retains the shape.

40$ for a full suit of aluminium armour? Forgive me for sounding sceptical but that seems ludacrously cheap. Got any pics, I would like to see what 40$ would get? Again, no offense intended, I'm just genuinely surprised.

I am getting the feeling Lizard has a new identity-Mandalore+. Still not using that spell checker and making incredible dumb offers to sell things that arent for real. If Mandalore + is for real, post ths $40.00 armor for all of us to see.

If it looks like a duck... ;)

I am interested in purchasing, do you sell?

yeah that sounds a bit fishy. It takes a lot of work and elbow grease to make a set of metal armor. My armor is fairly affordable, but I could never go that cheap for the amount of work I put into it.
I too am starting to become a bit suspicious.

A full set of aluminum armor for only $40? The only way I see this as possible would be if it were made of thin aluminum flashing (maybe 1/32" thick) and cut with aviation snips. Either way, that's a lot of work for such a low price, and doesn't make much sense to me, either.

that armor as shown, if cut from sheet metal, would be deadly. all of those sharp corners? yikes!

and as for $40 armor. let's see some pics of it :)

i don't know that i could even get the aluminum sheets to make it out of for that price...

you could do aluminum for about 40 bucks....

if you steal the street signs and then get some tools... tools would be about 40 bucks. signs are free granted you dont get caught.
