MPP Measurements Templets for ESB Blaster

OK, I obtained a Master Replica MPP flash for my Fett ESB blaster. So I am thinking about anyone who is making one out of a plumbing tube. These are the measurements of the MPP that I took. Length, hole size/placement; oval diameter/length etc. Red lines are the center. I divided the flash into four sides starting from the Top of the flash around to the back (By this i mean how the flash is positioned in the blaster). The circle measurements is the Diameter, and placement lines is to the center of the circle. Anyone else with a real MPP tell me how close I did and this replica is to the real deal. Hope this helps. Oh and please note the drawings are not drawn to scale.

Added two PDF Blueprints drawn in Metric and to Scale

How about editing the title so it's not so misleading. You are going to get a bung of people that are looking for measurements, not people that already have measurements.

this is great!im using a plumbing tube and i wasnt too sure as to the placements of the holes.one quick question though:as you stated the first pic is the top, so does that make the next pic the left side or right?

It goes Top, Front, Bottom, Back, as seen in most, if not all, reference pictures. So the second picture the right side we always see.

Nice template Seventhz.

I haven't got an MPP/replica to compare it to, but I compared it to a photo I have that shows the top of a bare MPP tube with a ruler beside it. It looks very good indeed.

The only difference I could see was the placement of the "E" between the two top ports - the real MPP appears to be centered.

I know I'm not the only one who appreciates you posting your templates.

Thanks

Steve

Just checking up on this, and thought I would repost the images since they went to red x's.

Has anyone actually tried to make a MPP replica using these dimentions? any information or pictures would be great.

I am about to try to make one / 3d print one. As I will have access to a chrome machine soon. If someone has a 3d model already, that would be helpful.
I don't think there is a truly accurate MPP replica for Fett heads available even from Parks or Roman's. It would be nice!

I created a model yesterday and printed one on my sla. I don't think its as accurate as rafal, as I don't quite get the rotation references in the pdf's.

I printed the top three inches out as a test, and it worked pretty well, going to see if i can get a cast piece going for this. My printer prints around 9 inches x 8 inches x 9 inches. I am about to redo a lot of my hand made parts for my builds.

If I can get this right, I will create a replica thats pretty close, but I am trying not to step on anyones projects. Just sort of a personal project.

Ultimately I will be making a mold, and then chroming these in bulk. They should look pretty close. I am chamfering the tip so it looks like its thin metal, but will taper into 1.5 mm thick to provide strength.

Can we all agree this thing sticks out roughly 5 inches? I want to make alignment holes to match my mounts.

If you make a full MPP replica that's accurate to what the EE3 needs I think there would be a large demand.

5" would be inaccurate, to far out. It was determined roughly 6 years ago that from the end of the Webley, not the scope mount, the tube should extend 120mm or 4.72".

Just updated my model on Shapeways with the letters added to the corresponding holes, but also resized the 2nd hole from the group of 5:
