loose / wobbly gauntets

so i cant be the only one to come across this problem
i am building ROTJ SE fett so have an aluminum gauntlet rocket and flame emitters on MOW gauntlets and obviously its top heavy
how do i stop my gauntlets from swinging around my forearm like a hoolahoop? they are tight-ish but lose enough to be comfortable
so what can i do to keep them in one place and upward facing so to speak?

Shim it with foam so it's snug on your forearm

I had the same problem cause I have thin arms lol
Foam does it! The right gaunt stays on cause the hoses lol

I'd have to say the foam as well. Wonder how they managed it on the suit they presented to J Bulloch years ago?

I cut the sleeves/forearms off of an old coat and wedged foam in between the layers to make big puffy wristbands, lol. I put those on, then the flightsuit over them, and the flightsuit sleeves keep the wristbands in place at about mid-forearm. Works nicely.

i use two elastic straps on the insides ^^

Piece of foam in the underside of the gaunt.

I used foam too. It's a bit tight, but I made it loose enough that I can slide them farther down my wrists with a bit of effort to give my arms a break without having to take them off.

Ive been using foam in my gauntlets for years...never had a problem
