Hey buddies,

just wanted to share my little boy´s helmet I got from thorssoli.

I painted it the layered technique I used for my TF Helmet too.

Not completely finished yet but worth a look.

Looks like a big helmet ... but it´s really the small one!

I´ll post some size-comparison shots later on.

My boy and I were super excited to get this helmet. I had been working on it for a day or two before I finally tried it on him. D'oh! His nose was TOTALLY crushed in the thing. Proportionally to the full size helmet, it's a bit off. This is my very first helmet of any kind, but I went ahead and chopped the thing in half and added a 3/4inch "shim" to give my boy's nose some room. I'm hoping to get it primed in today or tomorrow and I'll post some pics. Still loving the helmet, great price and a lot of fun!

Lookin good so far Manuel. I really hope more of the buyers post pics of their works in progress, but I'm worried that you might have scared them off.

Heh well his job is certainly intimidating the rest of us but the wife and I will definitely be painting ours up as well. Just hard for us to find good paints out here in the middle of nowhere but we will. We're going to use the helmet we bought off you as a test run before painting up my bucket.
