Jet Pack Harness Question

I purchased a us divers buckle from eBay and got the harness with the scuba tank holder as well. Very suprised and happy due to this.

My question is this. Look at these pictures and let me know if you think the black plastic harness is to big.

I had the exact same tank holder. I got rid of it. It was way too thick and didn't fit properly underneath the flak vest. I did see someone modify something like this by chopping and sanding some areas....not sure how it worked out though.

Agreed... way to thick.

I am going to chop it up and sand some areas to see if I can make it work.
